About Torben Spaak

Torben Spaak is professor of jurisprudence at the Department of Law, Stockholm University and was previously first a lecturer and then a professor of jurisprudence at the Department of Law, Uppsala University. He is one of three co-editors of Springer’s Law and Philosophy Library and a member of the editorial boards of some international jurisprudential journals, and he has been a visiting professor and a visiting scholar at the University of Minnesota Law School. In addition, he has written three monographs on jurisprudential topics, including one on legal reasoning, and more than 40 book chapters, articles and review articles, most of which have been published in various collections of essays or in international jurisprudential, legal, or philosophical journals, such as Ratio Juris, Law and Philosophy, and Archiv für Rechts- und Sozialphilosophie, Buffalo Law Review, Buffalo Journal of Human Rights, Ethics, and Theoria.
