He teaches at Sciences Po (Paris) and he is a member of the International Academy of the History of the Sciences. His research concerned essentially the philoso-phy of the passions before turning towards a theory of fictions which is without doubt considered from a literary perspective, but even more from a legal, political and episte-mological perspective. At the moment and already for a decade ethical questions (and in particular in relation to medical treatments) are the object of his books and articles in specialized journals.
