Shadows of the World, Shadows of Mankind&#8221;, held in Palermo, Italy, on the 9th and 10th of June 2017, and organised by the Sneffels Psychoanalytic Circle of Palermo in collaboration with Italian and Icelandic institutions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The latter, regular issue 13(1), comprises two new articles on recent socio-economic trends in Iceland (both of which underwent double blind peer review) as well as several book reviews.
