The conference addressed\u00a0the subject of Iceland in the International Community on a broad basis, featuring a\u00a0variety of perspectives on the subject from academics, officials and NGOs. The\u00a0conference was a forum for discussion on the position of Iceland in the\u00a0International Community, inasmuch as the position, influence and interests of Iceland in\u00a0international relations are currently and will continue to be important issues.
